The 9 millimetre square chain as well as the housing and structural parts of the locking mechanism are made of specially hardened steel. The lock has been awarded ABUS security level 12 out of 15. In order to protect the paintwork on the bike in the long run, the steen chain is covered with a textile sleeve. Even the keyhole has a cover to protect it from dirt and corrosion.
